Exchange Service Pack 3 Schema Update

    Hallo zusammen,


    am Wochenende steht bei uns die Exchange Wartung an. Das Ganze wurd im Lab getestet. Allerdings würde ich gerne das Schema Update schon heute durchführen.


    Welche Setup.com Parameter muss ich durchführen um das Schema und die Child Domains vorzubereiten? Das ist das eigentliche SP3 erst am Freitag einspiele ist unkritisch oder ?

    Ja habe ich allerdings habe ich da ein Verständnißproblem. Also wenn ich in einer reinen Exchange 2007 umgebung bin reicht dann folgendes:


    setup /PrepareSchema
    setup /PrepareAllDomains


    Weil wann genau brauche ich den setup /preparead zumal man ihn ja nur unter bestimmten Umständen einsetzen darf oder ?
    Siehe Satz:


    Don't run this command in a forest in which you don't plan to run setup /PrepareAD. If you do, the forest will be configured incorrectly, and you won't be able to read some attributes on user objects


    Und das Verstehe ich nicht bitte da nochmal um Hilfe

    Ja, du sollst nicht PrepareSchema durchführen, wenn du _nicht_ auch prepareAD im Forest ausführen willst. Ist doch nicht so schwer zu verstehen, oder?
