wo werden denn die ganzen Logs gespeichert ? Ich kann die halt im NTbackup über Berichte angucken.

Und die Sicherung der AD hab ich auch gerade mal gestartet.

Wie richte ich denn die Online Sicherung ein ? Auch mit dem NTbackup ?

ja genau das hab ich ja jetzt auch noch gemacht. Aber kommt der gleiche Fehler wie oben.

Hab die Sicherung ebend nochmal gestartet. Bis jetzt läuft sie, zumindest ist er jetzt schon mal weiter als vorhin gekommen.....

Das backup ist fertig und die Logs sind auch weg.

So wenn ich jetzt das übernehmen will, kann ich dann jetzt auch dafür die Backupdatei benutzen ? Oder muss ich jetzt nochmal die Datenbank abhängen und dann kopieren ?

Also wir haben nen Script wo den Dienst vom Exchange beendet und dann kann er ja sichern.

OK werde das evtl. morgen mal mit dem NTBackup versuchen !

Der Befehl müsste dann so heissen ?

ntbackup.exe backup DS \\Server IS \\Server /v /d "Exchange Backup" /b /t Normal /l c:\backup.log

Also so wie es aussieht löscht er die Logs nicht, weil da sind noch welche vom 24.12.2005 drin.

Gesichert wird immer nur das Verzeichnis, frag mich nicht warum, weil ich hab das nicht eingerichtet. Hab aber vor mit dem neuen Server dann es richtig zu machen

KA warum der da so viele Logs mit jeweils 5MB produziert.

Der Exchange wird eigentlich nur 1 mal in der Woche gesichert und da dann eben das komplette Verzeichnis.

Was soll ich dann jetzt machen ?

Problem ist, das ich die Partition in VMware nicht so gross gemacht habe. Müsste ich erst gucken, ob man das noch irgendwie vergrössern kann, was ich aber nich glaube.

also ich bin jetzt gerade am Testen. Allerdings nehme ich jetzt nicht gleich alle Logs wo da drin sind mit rüber (das wären 21GB !!!!)

Ich hab jetzt nur mal 3 Logs mitgenommen die so aussehen als das die gebraucht werden könnten
