SMPT Error mit Outlook 2003 SP3 und Exchange 2003 SP2

    Du hast nicht ganz unrecht gehabt. Irgendwo scheint die Authentifizierung fehlzuschlagen.


    Habe bei Strato noch mal die FAQs gewälzt und dort steht explizit drin, dass man einen Email-User angelegen und als SMTPAuth missbrauchen kann. Da bekommt man nicht noch einen speziellen User&Password, wie es bei anderen Providern sein mag.


    Habe jetzt den Smarthost statt Namen als [IP] angegeben. Im SMTP Server war kein Smarthost eingetragen. Soweit ich weiß, wird der sowieso durch den SMTP-Connector wieder überschrieben und stiftet nur Verwirrung nach innen.


    Trotzdem mein Problem bleibt ...
    Und ich bin mir sehr sicher, dass ich SMPT-Server/Connector richtig konfiguriert habe

    vielen Dank erst einmal. Der Smarthost war tatsächlich falsch. Wurde mir aber so vom Stratosupport mitgeteilt. Frechheit.


    Der 550 SMTP Fehler ist weg, nun bleiben die Mails allerdings in der Warteschlange hängen und die Warteschlange meldet in der Fußzeile:


    Der Remote-SMTP-Dienst hat die AUTH-Vereinbarung zurückgewiesen.


    Das scheint nicht ganz unrichtig zu sein, denn im Log steht: Falsches+Passwort

    Ich habe das Passwort vom User, den ich zum authentifizieren benutze, einfach mit 6 stellen konfiguriert und mehrmals überprüft. Eine Webmail-Anmeldung mit dem Passwort klappt wunderbar.


    Wieso dann falsches Passwort????


    Suche ich an der falschen Stelle??



    Ich habe mal die Einstellungen vom Server und vom Connector gepostet, vielleicht erkennt jemand etwas.


    Der Server ist ein SBS 2003 mit der IP 192.168.1.10. Der Router hat die IP 192.168.1.1.


    -Die Firewall ist aus.
    -telnet post.strato.de 25 funktioniert.
    -Kein Virenscanner installiert.
    -SMTPdiag funktioniert.



    Wird bei der Standarddomäne noch etwas eingetragen? (Siehe Bild)

    ja habe ich gemacht. Auch mal den ganzen Server neu gestartet.
    Immer der gleiche Fehler, dass das Passwort falsch sei.


    Interessant ist:


    Ich habe mal den Authentifizierungsbenutzer aus den erweiterten Einstellungen gelöscht und prompt kam in der Mail eine Fehlermeldung vom Stratoserver mit Verweis auf die Hilfeseiten von Strato, wie man die Authentifizierung einzustellen hat.


    Aber trotzdem kann das doch alles nicht sein:


    Wenn ich einen User: exauth anlege und ihm ein Passwort 123hurra gebe, das Webmail-Login mit dem User exauth funktioniert, dann muss doch auch die Authentifizierung bei Strato funktionieren.


    Wie kann da das Passwort falsch sein??

    da bin ich noch einmal wieder. Ich habe jetzt mal den Netzwerkverkehr mitgeschnitten.


    192.168.1.10 ist der Small Business Server mit Exchange
    81.169.145.136 ist der Smarthost post.strato.de


    und der User und das Passwort sind beides richtig.


    Hat dazu jemand eine Idee, wenn er den Mitschnitt liest?

    ich befürchte ja. Ich habe es extra einfach gemacht und der Login Name ist der gleiche wie die Email. Bsp:


    Login: vornamenachname@sbs.tld
    Email: vornamenachname@example.com


    Als Hauptadresse ist die SMTP von example.com angegeben.



    Das Schlimmste ist, ich habe zusätzlich einen Test-SBS in einer virtuellen Maschine aufgesetzt, die selben Einstellungen übernommen und alles hat sofort geklappt.


    Der Einzige Unterschied ist, dass Testsystem ist bei 1und1 gehostet und das Produktivsystem bei Strato ...


    Was soll man dazu noch sagen?
